Pegasus Planning were first instructed by Metro Bank in 2008 and has since assisted them with the opening of six stores to compliment their lead store and Head Quarters in Holborn, London.
Metro Bank prefer prime retail positions in town and city centres and prominent corner sites. These sites are often set in protected locations, bound by strict planning policies. By providing Metro Bank with detailed planning appraisals on all preferred sites, they are able to make informed decisions on potential purchases or leases.
If Metro Bank decide to move forward with any site Pegasus Planning oversee the planning process by preparing and submitting all necessary applications which may include negotiating planning applications for Change of Use or new build development schemes in addition to shop front alterations and signage proposals.
To date Pegasus Planning can claim a 100% success rate on all its planning cases for Metro Bank despite facing numerous planning challenges.
In 2012 Metro Bank propose to open a further 12 stores, for which Pegasus Planning will be retained as planning advisors.
