Pegasus Planning successfully secured the allocation of approximately 600 residential units on three sites to the north of Chelmsford on behalf of Persimmon Homes (Essex) Ltd and we are now overseeing the planning applications for all sites.
The three residential sites, located to the North West of Chelmsford, represent minor extensions to the urban conurbation. They are sustainable and in keeping with the existing built up area and also utilise and enhance the existing facilities and services in the area. The provision of much needed local housing and affordable housing has been key in the allocation of these sites.
Comprising high quality residential units, the new developments will provide a range of 2, 3, 4 and 5 bedroom houses as well as 1-2 bedroom flats. They have been sensitively designed due to their edge of urban locations and include large areas of innovative public open space, ecological enhancement corridors and townscape features with landmark buildings to ensure a sense of place is created.
We have liaised with the Borough Council, the Parish Council, the Highways Authority, local residential groups and other organisations to ensure that all issues and concerns have been dealt with at the earliest opportunity in order to secure the planning permissions for the sites.
