The western expansion of Chippenham, including the promotion and planning of the Sainsbury food superstore, all residential development (2,500 dwellings) the business park and the bypass; along with the planning and master planning of the northern expansion of Calne (1,500 dwellings), the strategic expansion of Westbury Leigh at Westbury, including its further extension to provide circa 1,000 dwellings ; the planning and concept planning of the strategic development of Old Sarum, Salisbury (circa 700 dwellings) and is responsible for the planning of the strategic expansion of East Trowbridge.</p><p>He has developed a leading role in planning the redevelopment of major previously developed land sites including the mixed use development of the former UEF/Garrington Foundary 20 ha site at Bromsgrove, the new Science Park and Residential development at the former Massey Ferguson Site at Coventry extending to 34 ha and the mixed use redevelopment of the former MOD site at Malvern extending to 20 ha to provide a new mixed use new neighbourhood as the cornerstone of the Local Plan.</p><p>Stephen has extensive experience of town centre planning having acted on behalf of food, drink, leisure and entertainment investment and operating companies throughout the Country and has developed a particular expertise in the successful planning of mixed use schemes in City and Town Centres.</p><p>In his role as lead consultant, Stephen manages multi-disciplined professional teams and is responsible for the delivery of multi million pound projects through the planning process from inception to implementation.  He chairs many working groups involving public and private sector experts and also has an extensive involvement in community engagement in the planning process.</p>";
